My family has lived at Trotters Pointe for almost a year now and have been completely satisfied. I have had excellent service and experiences with the management and maintenance. Both have been more than willing to do whatever they could for us. All the women in the office know my myself and my family by name and are quite friendly and truely interested in knowing how we are doing. The maintenance are friendly, respectful of our apartment and quick to address issues that may arise.
I live next to the playground and although it can be loud, at times, so far have not had any issues with unpleasant children. I never expected a playground to not be loud or filled with children though, so this has not bothered me. The younger children are supervised and the older ones have not been an issue with my son.
I have read these posts and find them to be funny. This winter was not bad at all, the roads were cleared, the sidewalks were clear and salt was added, when needed. I am sorry, but these people are obviously looking for an apartment complex that comes out and cleans off their car in the morning and personally scoops the snow to some large field to get it completly gone.
Yes, there was a murder...blah blah blah. It was also by a husband as a crime of passion. The police even told me that I had nothing to worry about. This was also the first murder in Greenwood, In for 2007. Greenwood, nor Trotters Pointe is a highly crime infested area so to think that something of this nature would happen to you while living here is just crazy.
I would recommend this living community to everyone I know and actually have. We plan on staying, have already made plans to renew our lease and look forward to the future here.

I strongly disagree with the above post. The back section of Trotters Pointe is now referred to as the "Greenwood Ghetto" because there are police incidents back there all the time! I have lived at these apartments for 2 years and over that time it has gotten much worse so I am moving out. My license plate was recently stolen off my car right in front of my apartment a couple weeks ago. Renter Beware!

The murder was in 15L, and our thoughts on this community have changed. We have been here for 2 years now, mainly cuz of the location so close to 65. We are happy with our apt and keep to ourselves, but I am not happy with the police here all time, nor being woken up at 4:30 in the morning on the weekend with sirens and cop cars circling some dumbass that would not pull over.
