I would not reccomend this complex to anyone who asks, not even if shopping cheap. A friend and I have been looking for apartments and came across Village Crossing Apartments, so went to make a visit to see the neighborhood. At first glance when we pulled up it didn't seem to be well kept, but not as bad as what we would see five minutes later when we walked out of the office to walkthrough a floorplan. At first impression the staff we spoke with did seem polite, until asked to explain how to work out their policy on which price range we fell into. She then became somewhat annoyed but contiuned to explain as nice as possible. We asked to see a floorplan that my friend and I thought would be suitable for what we've been looking for. As we exited the clubhouse and walked 30 feet from the door, kids were jumping in and out of a window in which the screen had been removed and were screaming at each other while they played. as we went up stairs there were multiple bikes and a shopping cart in the middle of the downstairs breeze way. At the sight of the mess, the staff member turned to the boys playing and scowled the young boys, rudely telling them to remove the shopping cart from the breeze way.
Once we gained access to the apartment, my friend and I immediately noticed that the apartment had a musky odor of smoke from the previous residence. Not only did the apartment have an odor, there were random baskets that looked as though they had been left by the previous resident as well. The staff member seemed brief and started cutting our conversations shorter and shorter.
Honestly I would suggest for people looking for a new apartment to look away from this poorly maintenanced complex.

I live here at Village Crossing and I beleive the new maintencance guy has done a great job of keeping up grounds and fixing any problems I have had. The staff has been friendly to me. As for the shopping cart I think that is tacky, and I am glad they asked who ever was playing on it to remove it!

I also live here at Village Crossing Apartments. When I first inquired about living here. I was not at all pleased with the run around I received. But getting a divorce and needing a place for my children and I quick, I did everything she asked, ran all over town getting documentation she needed. For her to wait to THE VERY LAST DAY, and of course the end of the day to tell me I was approved for the market value of an apartment. Since day one I have been waiting for my lease to expire to move out of this horrible place. The parking is horrendous! Everyone has their buddies over all the time taking 2 or 3 spaces instead of using the overflow for their guests. Staying up all hours of the night screaming, yelling, playing their music. Having your neighbors kids out all hours of the night yelling cursing their parents, trashing the place with garbage or food. And as above I have on so many occasions seen shopping carts all over this complex. This place is a disgrace. Most times I am too embarrased to have anyone over for all the dead worms the neighbor's kids pulling worms from the ground and smashing them all over the breezeway. I have so many times gone to the office and asked for help. For something to be done about all this. But the response I received was the office personnel trashing the neighbors of all over. They did ask me to fill out a complaint, I did. Four days later there was a note on my door stating I needed to keep the noise level down and to be sure to keep my surroundings clean. Yes my lease will be up soon! I am so ready to move!!
