My husband and I had lived there for over 3 years..wasn't too bad the first 6 months, that was until the sewer backed up into our bedroom. They did replace the carpet (and then 2 weeks later it did it AGAIN!) The manager said she would "check" into the problem, but only half-assed a solution (to which every 3-6 months the sewer again was in our bedroom) We had to contend with water damage from every time it rained, the water poured into our apts (we lived on the very bottom) Had EXTREME mold in ALL the rooms. Maintenance was incompetent (fixed most of the problems ourselves).

I would NEVER recommend this to anyone..NO matter how desperate! I would recommend your car or a large cardboard box!

I did recently find out about a woman who had been raped (in broad daylight). Her husband was beaten and they drug her off and raped her. The complex has been overridden with Mexican gangs, the police are there ALL the time> ANd I drove by and they are offering FREE RENT...come on now!

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPLEX FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THAT OF YOUR FAMILY. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS! AND CHECK OUT THE PICTURES...THEY DON'T LIE! THE THIRD PICTURE SHOWS OUR SECOND BEDROOM CARPET AFTER A LEAK OR WATER DAMAGE FROM NEIGHBOR...THAT WE WERE NEVER AWARE OF..NOBODY EVER CAME TO SEE IF IT HAD COME INTO OUR APT AN CAUSED DAMAGE..WHICH WE HAD A SOLID OAK CABINET IN THAT SPOT, WHICH WAS NO MORE THAN CARDBOARD UPON OUR MOVE AND HAD TO BE THROWN OUT!

Totally agree, Westminster is horrible. Lived there from 1999 to 2005. So glad to be out of there!

To second anonymous respondent: well there is a little thing called a LEASE..and they made it extremely difficult to get out of...and more for your info. They did do SMALL things to try to "fix" which for awhile worked and yes it was miserable, we did move to a different apartment as a recourse ONLY to have it do the SAME... and one more thing...If you aren't really interested why would YOU make a comment...UNLESS..WAIT I bet you are the MANAGER of the property or AFFILIATED with it in some way..IN THAT CASE... I understand your narrow minded comments LOL!! Goes to show the mentality of the management HA-HA-HA...what a JOKE this place is...and the management and help are an even BIGGER JOKE! this place needs TORN DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!! HAVE A NICE DAY!!! *RECOMMEND TO AVOID THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS!*

Okay so let me get this straight, the first six months you had sewage in your apartment and you were sooo unhappy you RESIGNED for TWO more years!! WOW. Then the next person to comment was also so unhappy they stayed from 1999 to 2005 another happy customer I guess!Honestly SIX years and you were miserable. Hate to see how long you'd stay somewhere if you were happy.....
