The Mansards

Been living in the Mansards since 1997. Have a ceiling that leaked in 2 places. They fixed it on the roof but as far as the water spots on the ceiling it's still there. Security ya where?? Just had 2 cars that has been broken into. Oh wait there is security after they are told Griffith PD is on the way to such and such address then they drive by to watch you clean up your glass from your veh. Drugs, and dealers yep they all live on both sides of the Mansards. Tried reporting it once to Griffith PD and was told that there is no Detective burea. Tried calling Lake County about it they said to call Griffith. So basically gave up. I remember they use to do raids on these types of situations. Also, remember when we had security they use to have 4-6 cars roaming the area's also had security at the gate to check in. They did say at one time that they were going to put locks on the outside door and only the people that lived in the buliding was able to get in other wise anyone else had to be buzzed in, also the camera's to see who you were buzzing in was going to be installed as well. Wonder what happend to that idea. Internet only DSL and that's slow! Cable for the internet is still not available for the area. Rent is really interesting for a 2 bedroom and one bath that isn't even close to being 2 baths and a balcony is way too expensives. As much as you pay for rent every month you could have saved your money for one year and have enough to put a down payment on a house. You think with as much people they have living in the Mansards they are making a nice amount of money to have security, camera's buzzers, well look at how they re-do their office almost every year.... see where the money goes to. Outside pool rarely opened during the summer time. Inside pool seems to be always opened, but people do like to get sun! Parking seems like you have get in at 6pm to be able to get a spot any time after that seems like your searching for a spot. Have soo many veh's with Illinois lic plates you would think you were in Illinois.
