I have lived at The Mansards for just over a year now and I have no complaints. The complex has an indoor pool for me to use free of charge and it is really a great feature for me because I get a full body work out in 30 minutes. I also have a membership at Matchpoint Fitness and I LOVE the sauna; it really helps me to relax. I also love how close I am to the train. I work in downtown Chicago and I hope the train everyday!
My apartment is huge and has lots of closet space and the perfect size kitchen just for me. My friends visit here all the time and they are amazed that my rent is so low and the community is SO NICE!
The staff at The Mansards is also very friendly and helpful. I have lived at other complexes where the staff only cares about getting their money, but the Mansards Staff has information on the surrounding area that helps me get around town as well as an internet room that I can look up directions on FREE of charge.
I have rad some ofthe other reviews and I am sympathic that they have had a bad experience, however I really don't think that they are being truthful--I think they are over exaggerating the truth becasue I have been problem free since I moved in and I look forward to renewing for another year!!!

No brochure, just a nice place. I really like having stuff to do after work...if you haven't tried the fitness club or indoor pool you should--it is great--I have lost 25 lbs the last year that I have lived here!

When we first got there we could not wait to get into the pool,but there was so much scum built up around the edges of the pool that people were actually taking things and carving (words into it) at least when I wrote a review on it it it got cleaned.Then came summer and the challenge to find a pool that was not broken or had been opened years 02-03.Not everyone can afford to join the fitness club either,but one may lose weight if they keep on the steady diet of BS the Mansard staff feeds people in there home spun reviews.I wonder what the ratings would be without the staff additions?
