I have lived at Embassy Place for almost 4 years and I have to tell you the location is great!! I travel to and from Illinois very often, and its close to the expressway as well as to shopping.

I too live on a second floor with a vaulted ceiling and the smoke detector is located too high for me to reach myself. I called the management office and talked to Cyndi who informed me all I needed to do was to purchase a 9 volt battery and leave it on my counter in the kitchen. When I returned home the battery had been changed for me by one of the helpful maintenance men. I guess all you have to do is communicate with the management office and they are more than happy to assist you!!

Embassy is a smaller apartment community which I much prefer over the larger and more impersonal places I have lived in the past. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and always concerned things are working correctly in my unit. I enjoy living and Embassy Place and I am sure you will also!!
