My boyfriend and I needed to find a place to live because I had gotten pregnant and was sure my mother would have kicked me out. We looked into the Hamptons only because I love Highland and there was a park right across from our apartment. Having a baby and the convience of a park in a great location. Yeah, well, we went in to sign all the paper work and the staff was great (until we moved in). I was only 18 at the time and my boyfriend 20. We were so excited. Although, 694.00 a month for a one bedroom apartment was a little high, we moved in anyway. My boyfriend was, and still is, a carpenter. When we seen the apartment we would be moving into it definitly didn't look much like the model. My boyfriend put in a custume countertop were there had been this ledge seperating the kithen from the rest of the apartment to make it of use. He added trim around the closet doors, etc. I was happy, at first. And then, my mom found a house for us to rent, two bedrooms, nice kitchen, four car garage, and all for only 400.00 a month. Being so young and STUPIED at the time and with a baby on the way I tryed so hard to get out of our lease thinking that maybe they would understand. YEAH RIGHT! They maybe human but their only after your money.

Management companies always have standard procedures for lease breaking that they MUST follow for ALL circumstances. If they made a special exception for you and not for another, well they could have a lawsuit on their hands and no one wants that.

Hard to take this post seriously....
So many instances of bad judgement.
Pregant at 18.
Obvviously incorrectly predicting her Mom's reaction. (she helped to find you a house)
Doing improvment work on an apartment - Save the money for your baby and last but not least....expecting the apartment comlax tolet you out a lease...ie....contact you signed promising to stay and pay your rent.

Time for some growing up huh?!
