Hampton in Highland

Nothing terrible, but nothing spectacular.
I think the problem is lack of competition due to very limited number of apartments in northwest Indidna. Unfortunately, this is as good as it gets there. I would avoid Hammond area.
Over $700 for an old 1BR is a bit too much. Maintenance service is ok. For those it matters, I am pretty sure this is also section 8 housing.
Once you move out, you will be charged for carpet cleaning and wall painting (total $350) regardless of their condition.

I am a current resident here and I have a friend that is on section 8 housing, but unfortunately could not move into my community because they do not take the voucher program. I missed out on $250.00 because of their standards!! I am not saying that it is good or bad because I know some people work the system, but my friend actually needed a nice place to live and needs assistance at this point in time in her life, so I guess it is good that they don't take section 8, but I wish my friend could be here with me. :(
