So-So - I lived at the apartments for a year. I have a cat and he has never been one to mark or tear anything up. When we moved in there was a spot by the fridge that looks as if the last tennant had a cat that marked, it smelled awful in that spot as well. give it a shot - I'm a single male and lived on the first floor for two years here. I had no huge real trouble. Insects/bugs (mostly pillbugs) were the worst of it. And the complex was real good about getting it sprayed... which helped. The only other thing I could really complain about is the noise/thin walls. Worked for me - I Lived at Rockwood two different times. Once in the early 90's and again in 2000. Both times I never had any problems and enjoyed where I lived. I really Loved the size of the apartments themselves. Some of them were built in the 60's and are just WAY bigger than an average appartment. We never had any problems or complaints.
