I've had the privilege of living here since Spring of 2006, and fully intend to renew my lease yet again.

This is a great apartment community to call home. I find the staff to be professional, friendly, helpful, and responsive. They are always available if you have a question or problem and are always looking for new ways/ideas to make Abington an even better place to live. They go way beyond the typical apartment pool parties...they had a huge Resident Party--the staff barbequed, set up fishing on the lake, games for the kids, it was wonderful! Every month they have Pizza Night in the Clubhouse- Dominos pizza for only $5!!! And this month they are giving away prizes for the mostly decorated balcony!! And they willingly accept, and even ask for, input from the community residents.

Pat and Sierra, the leasing agents, are a delight to work with, always helpful, and truly want to make sure the residents are happy.

The maintenance crew are top-notch, too. While I've had minimal problems creep up, they've always responded quickly and competently. I trust them completely in my home. One of the maintenance guys even helped me carry up a dresser to my second floor apartment for me...now that's service!

The community also has a well-equipment fitenss center a lovely pool complex, and a business center. Who needs Kinkos or Gold's Gym with all this!

I always feel safe here...whether I'm leaving at 5:00 am to go to work or coming home at midnight, the hallways and parking lots are well light and extremely visible. As a single professional woman who travels extensively, that's also very important to me.

I love a community with lots of green space that's nicely landscaped and well taken care of. Abington's got all that, too. I also have a beautiful lake view apartment. They have several apartments that overlook the water...it is so peaceful and beautiful.

It's a shame to read some of the negative comments that have been posted. I can only think that they must have been posted by someone consistenly paid rent late, damaged their unit, or created their own negative experience in some way. Their comments are certainly out of character with eveything I've experienced while living here.

I would, and have, recommended Abington to friends and co-workers in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

I am one of the residents who posted a negative review. I can assure you I am not someone who created my own negative experience here. I pay my rent by automatic payment, and I keep my apartment well-maintained. The damage in my apartment was here the day we moved in..and never taken care of despite our complaints. Feeling safe is definitely not a benefit I have gotten while living here. After having one of our vehicles stolen, a licence plate off of another one stolen, and the other one broken into, I definitely do not agree that the security here is anywhere close to what I expected. Recently in the neighborhood, a car window was SHOT out by a gun and the things inside were stolen. Not long after, someone broke into one of the clubhouses and stole the coin-laundry machines. They took them right out the window. I have watched 2 fist fights out of my bedroom window and have heard sirens several more times. This is not a place I would recommend, and will DEFINITELY not be renewing my lease.

Although the first writter sounds like they live in LA LA land, I think your response is crazy! So your telling me you watched someone steal a wahser and dryer through a window? Don't think it'll fit. Gun shots, fights. and thefts? have you ever thought to call the police? I think you are streaching the truth quit a bit. This is the quitest place I have ever lived, and my apartment is awesome I have no complaints, I think you might have some problems and you trying to make them look bad. My whole family likes my apartment and I've had a bunch
