I have had my share of issues here, but I think every time but once, there was no way the maintenance could have prevented it. I used to have my own house and I know how a lot of things just break out the blue, but there is a new maintenance man here that really knows his stuff. And the other day, he honestly had no idea how to fix my furnace, and instead of pretending, he called someone right in front of me to walk him through it. Now that I can respect.
Crime did seem to go up, but the rumor is it was a resident's son doing all of it. And since the Manager (I think) caught him and had him arrested, there hasn't been any more issues.
There is no violent crime, but small kid stuff that is more annoying than anything else. But hate to tell you, that's everywhere.

My point is really that we can complain all we want, but we are living in a "used" living facility. If you want perfection that realize that it doesn't exist. My house was way more worries, and when things broke I had to come up with the money to fix it...so I can handle a few days of wait here and there.

I just renewed my lease for 6 more months, and I don't regret it, if that means anything
