NIGHTMARE

I am seeing more and more crime in this neighborhood. One morning I woke up to see that someone had busted out all the windows and flattened all the tires of my trashy neighbor's car. These same people like to sit by the window and raise them and yell out to everyone. All the tennants recently received a note on our doorsteps warning us about recent vandalism and theft in the neightborhood. I thought the old property manager and staff was bad but they were nowhere near as bad as this staff. The streets are packed with teenagers from morning to late night. They drive through with their radios up all the way. The crime is not the only bad part of this neighborhood. The buildings are falling apart and the maintence staff is slow! The office staff has a very difficult time getting things right. I had no choice but to sign another lease because they failed to tell me I must inform them I was moving 4 months ahead of time. Anyway, with the new lease I got a carpet cleaning. I signed in July and now in October I still have not gottten my carpet cleaned. I call weekly and am always told they will call me back but never do!!
STAY AWAY!

Lived here?

I like the idea of this site in theory, however it sounds a little one sided to me. I live here and lived here at the time that the letter went out. The new staff that was SO HORRIBLE had been at the property for like a month and were trying to let everyone know and help. It seemed like they were dealing with the problem that was left for them by the previous staff. That winter they scheduled a crime watch meeting, and unless the person that wrote this was one of the 6 people other than me that actually showed up to the meeting, how can they complain if they won't even try to help find a solution? I will agree that it was a little bad last summer, but the difference is staggering. The policy on leaving is 2 months notice (read your lease stupid) and that sounds like a problem with the old staff not doing their job. I like my apartment and that is why I have lived here for 2 years and am about to sign a year and a half-lease!

No one has to do anything they do not want to do in life, however this person seems like all they want to do is blame everyone else for their own mistakes. If this person would have read their lease agreement, which as we all know is a legal and binding contract, that it clearly states over and over that only a 2 month notice is required to leave, not 4 months as this person states. I know I read any legal document over and make sure I know what it says before sign to it. The person who wrote this posting just proved their stupidity to everyone by not reading a legal document before signing it and then tryong to blame everyone else but themself. Also, Rome was not built in a day, and for this person to say that the new office staff is worse than the last staff is definetly not true. At the time of this review, the new office staff had only been here for a month. I would like to see this person make everything better within thirty days of taking over a property that had been let go for 5 years. Also, if this person was intelligent enough, they would know that by law, whenever a break in occurs in an apartment complex, they are required to notify everyone of the happening, so everyone would take precautions to ensure that they are using the appropriate locks on doors and windows that are provided and not just leave them wide open, just inviting someone to break in to their apartment home. The person who wrote this posting should think before they open their mouth, because again they have done nothing but prove to everyone how stupid they are when it comes to not getting their way and then comming on here and throwing a temper tantrum like a child.

This was written before I moved in, and I can attest to the vandalism and tires being tampered with (as well as just resident vehicles in general). However, the policy is stated in one's lease so despite being reminded that is something you should well be aware of.
