My husband moved into our apartment here at Aspen Lakes in April and I moved in in May after we got married. We love it here. We live in a two bedroom, two bath. It feels like home. The apartments have a great layout, all the space is used to its full potential, and the staff is excellent! This is my first apartment to live in and after talking to many people who have lived in apartments for many years I was a bit worried to move into an apartment... but Aspen Lakes has made the transition a breeze. Our electic bill is usually around 75 dollars and I am here throughout the day about every day. Our thermostat is set on 71 so I know the building was built well. We do hear noise, but I believe it is part of living in an apartment... I realize everyone else hears us walking around also. I am sure we will renew our lease if we don't end up buying a house. The grounds are beautiful and the staff bends over backwards to help with any problem that may arise. I feel completely safe here as a young woman. My favorite parts of the apartment are the walk in closets, linen closets, panty, and washer/dryer. It's great!
The only problem we have found is not quite enough parking if we get home late, but we can find a parking spot somehwere close, just not infront of our building.
