Best Apartments in Indy

I am just finishing up my first year at Aspen Lakes, and am certainly going to renew. I've lived in many different apartment complexes, and this one is easily the best I've ever lived in. Here is my breakdown of the pros and cons:

Pros: These apartments are brand new, and meticulously taken care of. The ladies in the office are so friendly, extremely helpful, and seem to know everyone by name. I've only had two minor maintenance requests, and they were fixed almost immediately. The location is great, very quiet with great highway access, and not too far of a drive to either downtown or Greenwood, Kroger and banks are right across the street..everything's near by. Kitchens are very spacious and the apartments themselves look great (part of being brand new). I think the price is great considering how much you get and how nice everything is. It also feels very safe overall, something you can't say for a lot of apartment complexes.

Cons: Not too much in this category, but one thing I must warn you of is that although these apartments are brand spanking new, like most new builings, they seem to have been built very cheaply. The walls are EXTREMELY thin, and you WILL hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. Most of the people in our building seem to be very quiet and respectful, so the noise has never been too bad. But unfortunately, I had a very noisy neighbor on one side, and it led to countless nights of lost sleep. They are gone now, so we're enjoying it again, but I guess it's kind of luck of the draw whether you get good neighbors or not. I guess the only other thing I can think of is that the water heaters seem a little small (more than two decent showers and you start running out of hot water). And although the parking situation isn't too bad, I think people are starting to learn how nice it is here and moving in in droves, so it's a little tighter than it used to be a year ago.

Everything else is great! I'd definitely recommend Aspen Lakes to anyone.
