Please don't move into Aslen Lake. The apartments are ok but the worst part is the people that work there. The property manager is extremely rude and she has no idea how to talk to her residents. All of the maintenance staff are her friends so nothing gets done when there is a maintenance call. They have confirmed maintenance on our apartment several times when NO ONE has showed up to fix anything and we have all of the proof. My husband and I have been living there for almost a year (unfortunatly) and we have never had a good experience with the staff. We contacted corporate in December and they said that the property manager would contact us to set up maintenace and it took her 3 MONTHS to call us. We have requested that our balcoy get cleaned 10 months ago and it is yet to be done, we were told it was "our problem", we have NEVER enjoyed our balcony, it's discusting. When we moved in we were told that the carpet would be cleaned and that was never done either, there are stains every where. So basically, this is a terrible apartment complex and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

HHmm, I think that they may be talking about a property in Michigan. I can honestly say that I have had no problems at all like this since I have lived here, and I have been here for well over a year. In fact, the office staff is always friendly to myself or anyone else I see walk in and maintenance has come and fixed even the most simple requests within a day.
Poster, please clarify that you are talking about the Aspen Lakes in Indianapolis Indiana or the on in Grand Rapids Michigan.

I live in ---- and my husband and I love it here, I don't know where you came from or who you are talking about; the Manager knows what she is doing as well as her staff. This is one of the most beautiful properties on the South Side, and the entire staff is wonderful. My maintenance and noise issues have been handled that day. I would refer Aspen Lakes to anyone! The above poster must have some personal issues. We all love you Aspen..From Building ----

WOW, must be talking about a different property, because the manager and staff are very friendly and maintenance is always there that day or the next and always very polite. And as far as keeping your patio clean, that is your responsibility!!!! my husband and i have been living here for almost a year and love it
