I have lived at Aspen Lakes for almost two years and I will be moving out soon. The noise is awful, I can hear everything that my neighbors are doing ALL the time. The staff says there is nothing that they can do....I see that other people are having the same issues with the noise. I was told there is no concrete between the floors. I don't know much about fire codes but wouldn't that be a little dangerous' If I'm on the second floor and the third or first catches on fire, I would be toast! I don't see how they can get away with that seeing as how new they are!
The maintenance guys are great. Any time I need something done they are right there and always friendly....which the office staff is not. It used to be but not anymore. Jamalee and Nettie were great, neither one is there anymore and the new manager doesn't seem to care about anyone. She is not friendly and we get notes on our doors all the time about trash or cars....do something about it instead of sending us letters all the time, maybe I'm just being over dramatic and maybe apartments just aren't for me.

I have had excellent luck with the manager and her staff. They are very friendly and accomodating. When apartments are built they have to go by code. You are living in an apartment, therefore you are going to have noise. That is apart of the deal when you don't own your own home.
