I have been living here for 4 years now, and when I first moved in it was nice, but it has slowly gone down the drain since...

The location is pretty ideal; 10 min. from downtown, 10 min. from Avon, and just a couple of min. from the racetrack. I have a 3 bedroom and it is very spacious, high living room ceiling, fireplace, and great balcony view. The paint is cheap and shows marks easily, and painting it yourself costs $20/wall! The grounds are fairly nice, but could be spruced up and taken better care of. The maintenance staff is usually prompt and efficient; they only failed to properly fix a garbage disposal leak twice. The noise level, until this year, has been great. The staff is pretty clueless and not friendly or helpful.

The people below us are very loud and smoke like chimneys which has started to seep into our apartment. Another problem that just happened this year is the amount of flooding caused by rain. The pond apparently receives surrounding street water and thus makes the road drains in the complex overflow, causing major problems for cars to get in and out.

I have felt pretty safe up until this year, and have never had any incidents personally. There is a WIDE range of people living here, and there have only been a few times where I have almost called the police due to arguing and fighting in and outside of other apartments.

The place could certainly be improved, but overall it's not bad. If you're looking for anything smaller than a 3 bedroom, look somewhere else! vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
