We have lived here for a year now and have no idea why we did sign a lease here because its way over priced and the lease doesn't even matter to management. Before we signed the lease they were so nice but as soon as they had us locked in the staff did a complete 180. The office staff is rude, they don't ever help and when there is a problem they basically tell you tuff luck we win and you don't, and that's puting it politely. The maintenance is slow and not friendly and when I need something fixed I have to call 3-4 times and wait a week before it actually gets done. The trash overflows on weekends sometimes through the week and nobody from the office gets maintenance to empty it so I have to call and complain to get it done. The landscaping is horrible, the grass is never green there are dead bushes throughout including in front of my back porch. It's all so dull they need color. The buildings are missing pieces of aluminum on the soffit, and the garages are just in horrible condition. The garages get an inch of rain in them if it rains and then smells like mold and the doors don't shut properly and are dented. In the winter the parking lots do not get cleared or even salt put down so after a day of now or slush it freezes and basically is an ice skating rink which is a huge liability on their part and if I ever fall or even fall with my daughter they will have a serious issue on their hands that I guarantee would turn the management back around to being nice again. The only thing that stops your vehicle from sliding into another car as you turn or take a curve are the tire tracks that froze and even if you just idle speed throught the lot it's hard to stay straight. The units themselves have drafty doors and windows, even after i put plastic over the windows it still is cold because so much comes in through them, my babies room is the worst so we cant keep her in there or she will get sick. It was dirty when we moved in, there were cob webs and clumps of dust hanging from the ceiling, they were not painted and drywall tape falling off in areas that took two weeks to fix and could have been done in 2 hours. The people next to us and above us smoke which they can do what they will but the smoke literally barrels into our apartment through the bathroom vents and I asked to fix it and they closed the vent but it did nothing so I complained again and nothing got done and I had to fix it myself go figure. Before i fixed it we could close the bathroom for a few hours and when we would open the door you can see the smoke and its the worst in my daughters room but much better since I had to fix it. even when light bulbs burnt out in my garage burnt out they dropped the lights off to my fiance and said we have no way to get into the garage but thats a lie because somehow right after we moved in they were able to get in to put crates in there so our things wouldn't get wet, so I fixed that problem as well. The only thing that was fixed fast was the heat but I think it was only fast because it was on a weekendand maintenance had to do it right then. So if you like paying the same amount of money as a house with utilities would be, and high gas bills in the winter and having to fix the things that go wrong while you live here then Autumn Chase Apartments would be heaven for you. I promise we aren't the first to say all of this and the people who write comments saying people are just complainers or they have excuse after excuse for everything are just blind to the obvious, I swear it's all bull and I have talked to 4 other tenants here that agree with all that I said even friends that were going to move in said that the staff were unfriendly and the apartments were dirty. I hope you don't make the same mistake that we did and fall for their crap. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE DAY I MOVE!!!
TO PROVE MY POINT GO BACK TO THE REVIEWS AND CLICK VIEW ALL REVIEWS ABOUT AUTUMN CHASE APARTMENTS AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IT WAS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE UNTIL THE NEW MANAGEMENT TOOK OVER. THEN THEY STARTED RECEIVING BAD REVIEWS. SINCE THE NEW MANAGEMENT TOOK OVER IN 05 THEY HAVE RECEIVED 14 GOOD REVIEWS AND THEY ALL ARE SHORT AND SWEET AND DON'T ELABORATE ON HOW GOOD IT REALLY IS TO LIVE HERE. THEN THERE ARE 12 BAD REVIEWS THAT SAY THE SAME THINGS AND ARE VERY ELABORATE ABOUT THE PROBLEMS JUST WORDED DIFFERENTLY. COINCIDENCE, I THINK NOT.

I agree completely!!!!!! I have lived here for awhile now, and we are simply miserable here, but with the high rent, it makes it hard to save to move out!!!!

Yeah the rent is ridiculous and with a baby you have to have a high end job to live here and in my business the flow of work goes up and down so money does as well.

I completely agree with every thing stated above. These apartments continue to go far down hill. The grounds are a mess. I can walk around and find more cigarette butts than grass. They do not clean anything up. There are broken doors, broken garages, burnt out lights, they do nothing. The especially do nothing to clean up the grounds. There is dog poop and trash everywhere. They don't even restock the "pet stations" with bags anymore to encourage people to clean up. This place is awful for the money we pay. We could go to a much nicer apartment for the same price or less and have "luxury" living. Something needs to be done

The feedback above could not be more dead on as well as some of the responses. I hope Autumn Chase Management reads this and actually ventures out of their offices to walk the grounds and be EXTREMELY observant of all their problems and see how awful they really look. The apartment guides list these as "Luxury" apartments- are the kidding? Here are some examples of what I get for my "luxury apartment"
-- There were break ins to several cars where the windows were broken out. No notices to residents. Nothing. The broken glass was never cleaned up. I got a broom and dust pan and cleaned some of it up myself for safety even though I was not affected. There is still a car at the end of one building with a broken out window, a garbage bag over it, and glass in the grass and pavement all around it-- it has been almost 2 months!
--- There has been human feces on the light pole outside one of the apartment buildings from all the "party people" in the neighborhood. I watched maintenance walk by and just look at it. Eventually rain washed it away.
--- As I type this, there is currently vomit on the back walkway outside of the double doors of a neighboring building. It has been there over a week joining the millions of cigarette butts again from the high quality party residents preferred here.
--- My apartment always smells like smoke, even though I don't smoke.
--- When they actually do come to clean out the hallways between apartments, they use an old gas leaf blower-- you know to blow the trash outside and leave it there-- the exhaust/ carbon monoxide smell fills the closed door hallways and eventually your apartment until you get a headache and are sick.
--- My heater runs constantly because everything is so poorly insulated and conversely in the summer the AC never goes off because all the humidity comes in. The windows do not close correctly.
-- The staff is rude, unwilling to help and does not care. They are also not knowledgeable or trained very well. There seems to be high turnover.
Bottom line if you want to pay high rent and get all the luxury amenities mentioned above, come on over join the junk yard and geese poop.
I can't wait until our lease expires. This place is not what I hoped it would be.
