weve lived here almost a year. the staff is nice and after getting rid of the complete idiot on maitanence staff, thats ok now too. MY ISSUE' the woodroaches and the huge wolf spiders that live on my porch. i was told that theyre not REALLY roaches, but when one antennea is moving independently of the other, its a roach to me. they keep spraying (or at least say they do, im a full time student who also works full time, im never home) but they keep coming back. out apartment flooded and we ended up with raw sewage and got new carpet. the sliding class has been broken from day one despite numerous requests for it to be fixed. its just little things. when they replaced the carpet, they marred the walls up horribly. parking is horrible, its poorly lit and there are no reserved spots so when someone invites 20 people over, i have to park at another building and literally walk over 5 mintues to my door late at night. the racoons dont bother me, but theres lots of them and lots of cats all over the place. the buidlings not insulated so all of my IPL bills are over $100 a month, even with the heat turned off. we've asked to switch buildings to get away from the roaches. BUT we aren't allowed to switch buildings, we're stuck with the same apartment no matter what, PLUS you can't downgrade from what you have. so basically if your roommate moves out, you're stuck with living in an apartment too big for you. they don't care about their residents.
