My wife and I have lived at Avalon Lake for about two months now. Overall, it's a pretty nice place to live. Very nice staff, nce grounds - the lake is nice. Rent is reasonable. There are a lot of geese. If you cannot stand finding goose poop on your sidewalk every once in a while, you might want to reconsider moving here. You might be finding a lot of it...as there are a lot of geese. They can be pretty slow at responding to maintenance calls, sometimes. But, then again, I just called in about our gargage disposal not working yesterday and the guy came and fixed it today. We were quite pleased. So, like I said, overall it is a pretty nice place to live. As far as we know, in our two months of residency here, it seems like a pretty safe neighborhood, as well. I'd reccomend it.
