Completely inept and awful

I should have known the first day I moved into Hickory Place that my experience would be awful. I got there early to sign the lease as I had been told to do. I was told I couldn't move in until four. I explained that I had been cleared to move in that morning, that we had movers working on an hourly rate and that I needed the keys. They said okay, I signed the lease, gave me the keys to the apartment that we had been promised that we had already forwarded our mail to and set up utilties for, and went home to wait for the movers. Once the movers got to my house, my roommate went ahead to sign her portion, where she was told that they had put us in the wrong apartment and that our mail, the utilties, and our keys were all for the wrong address. It took forever to straighten this out. Meanwhile, our movers sat outside doing nothing except running up a bill.
The staff had promised that all sorts of renovations and additions were going to occur shortly after we moved in. The hot tub and sauna were going to be fixed, the exteriors painted, and they would be getting new equipment for the gym. NOTHING has been done.
The noise is horrible. The apartments and the parking lots are shoddy, poorly kept up, and noisy as hell. I can hear my neighbor's alarm clock through the floor. Everyone of my neighbors is rude, inconsiderate and noisy. I do not feel safe and the staff ignores you if you complain.
These are dirty, dingy aparmtents. I was excited when I moved in. I thought it would be fantastic. I started apartment hunting two months after moving in no my one year lease. If I could have figured out a way of breaking my lease, I would have. As it is, I am stuck for another four months.
Please, spare yourself. These are the worst complex I have ever seen. It feels like a tenement. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
