Like others have said, this place was a nightmare from the time I moved in. Thankfully, I had the money to break my lease and get out. I could write a short book on the problems I have encountered at Hickory Place. Please take this into consideration:

-I had asked the leasing office to not let one particular male maintenance person into my apartment- I won't disclose the reason. (I'm a single female living alone) Lo and behold! The staff disregarded my request. Dangerous...

-Two times had police knocked on my door looking for someone or asking about a suspicious car. One night, I wasn't even able to get to my building because 7 cop cars were surrounding my parking lot.

-I submitted over 60 maintenance requests.

-There has been no attempt to renovate the complex. Only false promises of new siding, roofs, gym and grounds.

-My friends and I found another resident passed out sitting in his running car, with vomit all over him; we thought he was dead. The next weekend there were two hit and run accidents in my lot.

-The leasing staff and owners are the most unorganized, apethetic, disrespectful and incompetent group of people I've ever dealt with.

I think this makes my point. My advice, keep on down the road.
