Warning...this place is terrible!

This neighborhood is absolutely horrible. The walls are as this as tissue paper, tenants pack themselves and their kids into apartments like sardines and take up all the parking spots, and the noise and crime are undeniable.
It is summer now and all of the kids are running around unsupervised, day and night. They are setting off fireworks and vandalizing cars. My cars locks have been broken and mud has been smeared over my car several times. They were playing with rocks, throwing them around in the parking lots and setting off fireworks and shooting them at cars one night at ten o'clock.
The noise is terrible. There is music coming from apartments and the cars and people who just sit outside on the street and turn it up at two in the morning. Apparently, no one in this neighborhood needs sleep beside me. I can hear my neighbors screaming through my floor, it has gotten to the point that I cannot stand to be at home most of the time.
There have been several break ins, just in the small area where I live. I see police a lot, taking reports and breaking up things. If its not police officers, it is groups of people walking around the neighborhood messing with cars and throwing things and yelling things at people as they walk out to their cars. My mailbox is a block away and would rather drive to it then walk, only because I don't want to run into some of these people that look like they have nothing better to do than hang out in the street and give someone a hard time.
Management is totally inept. There are always new people in the office and two new managers in less than a year. I tried turning in my notice for the end fo July in May and they claimed they didn't receive it, so I turned in another one. They once again claimed they didn't receive it. I had to fax it to them for a THIRD time the day before my thirty day notice was expected, call them and confirm that they had received the fax, and then have them send me back a signed copy of the fax I had sent so that I had proof in case they tried to tell me when I moved out that I hadn't given notice.
This complex is ridiculous. It is shoddy and terribly run. Save yourself a year of frustrations and do not come here because I promise you will not stay loner than a year.
