Largest apartment's you'll ever find

for the money...

You live downtown so you know how people can be. Begging for money, your cigarette, a slice of your pizza. The residents...most are long term. Sometimes we have people but most of them come and go. We have an officer in the building who we love.

Now you want to know all of the negatives, right' Most people love their apartments but I'm not fond of hardwood or older buildings so I might not be the best person to ask. They do not have dishwashers or carpeting and the laundry is in the basement. It's an old building so you'll have bugs but just keep on top w/ maintenance and they'll get you sprayed as often as you want or need. Owners are great and will work with you if you have issues. Parking isn't covered or enclosed but as long as you have newer vehicles you shouldn't have issues b/c noone wants to steal or break into them. 5 years, 2 vehicles and no problems. It just depends. Crime happens anywhere...if they want it they will take it whether you're in Carmel or downtown.

The two bedrooms are probably 1,500 sq. ft. They say 1100 but it's the largest we've ever found. For $550 a month you can't beat it. No elevator b/c there is only 3 floors. Buzzer on the front door and gated yard in the back. Careless residents do break them from time to time but as is to be expected sometimes.

Building is concrete cinderblock so heating gets expensive for the largest apartments in Jan. About $150. From there it's $99-$35 per month. You don't pay for water, sewage, trash or gas. Just electric. Gas stoves.

Visitors must park up front on street. Towing company tows all cars on an hourly basis who don't have a permit from the back lot.

For the money and square feet, you can't complain.
