Not a good place to raise family!!

First, when I lost my job, the office was very patient. I made arrangements and kept them and they never, never harassed or threatened me. I commend them for that. Now as far as living conditions: I have lived here for 4 years and I've seen many things. One night 3am I awoke to popping sounds, a car was literally set on fire! I've seen drug dealing right under my nose. I did not know that this was a Section 8 apts when I first moved in. When you get a lot of people who don't work, there's going to be trouble. If you see someone never going to work but always have steady traffic going in/out, come on'! I just wished that they would care who lived there. The people around me smoked marijuana that drifts out into the hallway which then drift into your apartment and it is so strong and stinky that people may wonder if you are smoking it cause it sticks to your clothes. I hate that. The walls are so thin that any smoke drifts up and into your closets and you can literally hear conversations and (other things) that go on in the bedroom, just disgusting. I am so glad to be gone! I saw only 2 cockroaches, thank God, and I took care of that quickly! Overall this place is just not a good place to raise children or if you are a decent, hard working individual who just wants to come home and relax without having to step over people or wade through smoke to come into your house, this is not the place!!!

Now thats a lie about the car. When was that really. Come on now. Quit making up stuff. Briergate has always taken section 8 DUHHH. All apartmetn walls are thin that how an apt is. Its not a house. If they people around smoked pot why didn't you call the police????

First of all, I don't have a reason to lie or "make up stuff". The car fire was in the summer of 2006, I know because I called 911 between 2-3am as I watched it burn. Call the fire dept and check it out for yourself, fool. Secondly, it's not advertised that its section 8. Third, the apt I live in now does have thicker walls,I don't hear every conversation or music even though outside the music can clearly be heard, but inside its muffled, that's good walls. Fourth, what would I tell the cops, idiot, uh officer there are people smoking in my building? Don't get mad at me because you live in a dope-dealing-transvestite-living-crackhead-having-roach-inf dump. Deal with it!

Wow you are not the only one who feels that way about here as well. I left my two cents in here as well. I just hope perspective renters actually read what we wrote. Now, I have a feeling it was someone in the office who replied to your post. I was not here for the car fire but, I have seen some of the other things you wrote about. And yes there typical answer is to call the cops. They do not want to face the fact that they are not screening potential residents. Even when the cops are called the office does not do anything over it. I know that because I still see the people around. I guess it pays to be an office pet. Then you can do what you want when and how you want. And that includes late rent payments.
