I was very please with Marten Manor for the first year but, not so anymore.
I'll list what has gone wrong:
- Lots of noise. I've had to call in several noise complaints on the down-stairs neighbor, who works maintenance here.
- Following the last super bowl some drunk in a Trans-Am decided it would be fun to take a drive in the back yard and got stuck. That was interesting.
- Another drunk, at a different part later in the year managed to crash into one of the covered parking, bringing it down on two other cars.
- Beer cans/bottles discard all over the place. (Maintenance usually picks up once a week.)
- My wife's car window got smashed, twice.
- Last but, not least. About 3 weeks ago two teen-agers decided it would be fun to order Chinese food and then rob the delivery boy at gun-point.

Needless to say I'll not be renewing my lease and know a few other tenants who left in spite of the stiff penalties for breaking the lease early.
(The terms of the lease are pretty crapping and most likely not legal, i.e. if they decide to kick you out, according to the lease, you only get 5 day and owe the entire balance of lease. Correct me if I’m wrong but, the law states 30 days, and you pay until they find a new tenant.)

I digress.

It was a nice place; it still has some nice features but, it’s not a place I want to live. It’s almost like they stopped caring who they rented to or how much trouble they cause for the other tenants.

I do not feel safe here.
