Do not recommend this facility

This apartment complex was very nice when I first moved here 6 years ago. However, there is now a new management, new office staff, and new owners. It is going downhill very quickly.
The parking lot has been repaved this winter, however, it is already once again full of potholes. There are several balconies which are supported by 4x4's which have cracks running the length of them that are 2 or more inches deep. I know, I stuck a ruler into the one on my patio and measured. It is 2 and a half inches deep and four feet long. There are no current plans to replace either support.
The paint is falling off the buildings. Several of the lights in the back of the community do not work, and when a lightbulb is replaced, they continue to not work. The door to my entranceway either does not close on it's own, or sticks shut when it is pulled to. Since we all share the gas for the heat which is escaping, this costs us all money. Continued complaints have not resulted in it being fixed.
The trash areas are picked up on a regular basis by the trash removal company, but the trash is open, and often blows around the community. Also the area around the dumpster is never cleaned by staff, and the dumpsters are often surrounded by rotting food.
The roofs on most carports are sagging. However, extra supports have been added to the sides to keep the carports from collapsing onto people's cars. So far, I've only seen one collapse.
The sidewalks are not salted completely in the winter, which caused two of my elderly neighbors to fall. One of them injured her hip very badly. They have both now moved. There are times when the parking lots are not plowed.
Every apartment is assigned a carport. That is nice. However, most apartments have two cars, and there is not enough parking space for those cars. It is nearly impossible for visitors to find a spot that is on the street where I live. Since the carports are actually one building away from the entranceway of the apartment building to which they are assigned, there is often confusion about which slot belongs to new tenants. And you have to walk half a block to carry groceries from the car to the apartment.
On two occassions, the office staff has mis-appropriated my gas payments. And as a result of them not crediting my payment, they have sent me final letters demanding payments for payments I had already made. Payments which had cleared my bank two weeks previously. When I called to correct the problem, I was treated rudely, as if I made the mistake. And there have never been any apologies from the management.
