NOT SAFE

I am a current renter, but do not reside at the property anymore. It is not safe. I have had my vehicle broken into twice in the past month and the management and the police said there is nothing they can do. I was informed that I would need to pay 3.5 months rent to end my lease early even though I am not safe and my my lease is over half way through. So I just may the rent and store some things there.
There are kids that run around outside unsupervised, the windows and doors are old and do not seal very well. There is always trash out next to the dumpster. There is a definite odor of drug usage from several apartments. Two people were shot hear over the summer and the management sent out a letter acting as if since they were shot in the leg and hand, it was not a big deal. I guess someone must die before they take it serious. I am not safe and continue to pay 599 a month so they wont sue me for breaking a lease to someplace unsafe.
If you rent here, do as did and get a concealed weapon permit and a firearm. This area is not safe.

Ok I have been here for over three years and feel very safe. Especially compared to how it used to be. I have a poodle that I walk late into the evening at times as well! Yes sometimes trash is out the dumpster but maybe if people werent so lazy it wouldnt be! As for the shooting I personally as well as my building-mates LOVED the fact that a letter was even sent out. My cousin stayed at an apt where there was a shooting and the staff kept brushing her off. They wouldnt tell anyone what happened. I appreciate the fact I was not damage controled. Good luck moving somewhere that has 100% no crime. And if your car was broken into twicce in one month i think u should recheck who you associate with. That sounds rather personal.

It's because I tried to have nice stuff in the ghetto. I now realize that the area is not a low crime area. I know and realize that no place is 100% crime free. I just do not understand the management not finding it to be a big deal or following up when I try to keep them involved in my ordeal. It is what it is. Hopefully my review will keep others from making the mistake I did, by thinking this was a decent apartment complex.
Also, I still cant use my supposed free wifi after 6 months of complaints because I live at the edge of the complex and it is not set up for as many users as they have on it. The signal is simply not strong enough.
I associate with very few people in Indianapolis and the ones that i do associate with would never screw with a persons vehicle. They know the time and effort it takes to create and maintain a nice personal vehicle.
Hopefully someone gets killed and some changes will get made. Hopefully it is not you or I, but bullets don't have sympathy.

Does that really say hopefully someone gets killed?! Wow, I think that's the kind of person I would be happy to see move away from me. :)
