When searching for a new apartment, I was very impressed by the website for broad ripple trails. When looking at the application requirements, I assumed they only let quality people live here. I really wouldnt mind these apartments if I felt safe and knew I could come home to a quiet apartment.

However, as I sit here typing this review, I'm listening to the never ending music from the person below me. The bass is turned up full blast and I can hear every word of the music. This goes on from 10 am to about 2 am. I have to leave for work at about 6:00am meaning that I go to sleep with a loud white noise machine and ear plugs in. Also, I go elsewhere if I want some peace and quiet. My other neighbors are constantly arguing and "making up" - which I can also hear in full detail. To give you an idea of how thin the walls are, if I'm standing in the kitchen I can hear the person below me close a cabnet door. I have walked into my apartment building and had it smell like weed on numerous occasions. I'm pretty sure that only about half the people in my building actually have a job... which suprised me when you look at the requirments to live here. I have witnessed people selling drugs and getting into arguments in the parking lot.

Being a single female, there is no way I feel safe enough to ask them to be quiet at 2am. This place wouldnt be that bad if you had respectful neighbors. However, from other people I talked to, this seems to be a probelm in a lot of apartment buildings.

I have had problems with loud neighbors but all I had to do was talk to the office and the problem was fixed!! They can't fix the problem if you don't let someone know the issues.

Yes, I notified the office... unfortunately not a lot has changed
