I lived in Brookwood for 18 months and the only positive I can say is that the rent is cheap. As was previously stated the service is poor, the kids are terrible, the appliances are old, the staff is non-responsive, and the grounds are more often dirty than not.
It is a great place to live if you want to save money, have a roof over your head, and you don't mind being embarrased about where you live. Many people there do not respect themselves enough to clean up their trash or make the place look decent.
Just to make my point, when I initially moved in my water heater broke down during my first week in the apartment. The maintenance staff had to make multiple trips to figure out the problem. When they finally figured it out he fixed it and left. But luckily I inspected the breaker switches he had shut off to do his work because I noticed crackling behind the wall and immediately called the office. He came back out and realized that there was bad wiring behind the wall. Unfortunately for me he did not have the proper tools or materials to complete the work so I was without hot water or heat for over 3 days. They did not give me one dollar in credit or offer to pay for a hotel and it was Feb. As you can guess I did not renew my lease when it was up... k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
