Brookwood Apartments

Worst choice we ever made! (ITS A PROJECT!!!) From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/11/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   We were here for only 5 days! We ended up talking to our old landlord and moving back to our old apartment on 38th street. Our old apartment was great but the neighborhood was lousy and we thought the southside would be better. (WRONG!) Moving to Brookwood was such a bad decision. We moved in a 1 BR underneath a bunch of idiots living in a 1BR above us with a boatload of kids, and the adults stayed up all hours and partied everynight. They were so loud, we could barely hear our clock radio in the morning thru the music, yelling and racket going on above us! Nothing was done when we contacted the Mgmt. We finally contacted the police, and then we started getting harrassed. We were afraid to go to work for fear of coming back and finding our apartment trashed and getting robbed. We moved out after the fifth day. It was HORRIBLE!!! Management treats you like you live in the "projects" and your concerns do not matter!!
