This is the lousiest experience I have ever had with a complex and the manager. Maintenance is a joke! Our window air conditioner(which is mounted on the wall near the front door) started leaking water inside, down the wall, into the light switch, and soaked the carpet. I called maintenance and left a message. I did get a call back in a few minutes and was told by the maintenance guy that he would be over "after while". He never showed up!! I hate being lied to!!!!! I called and left a message after hours and asked politely for someone in the office to call me when they got in the next morning, but no one has ever called. I was warned when my husband and I first moved in here, that many people have moved in the middle of the night. Now I know why. Oh, not to mention loud people and the fact that there are 2 --------- and three children living in the 1 bedroom apt in our building! They also house people who are visited by the mental health people periodically...what's up with that' I agree with the other writer....You get what you pay for!!!!!

That is so crazy, the same happened to our apartment. our ceiling was leaking water and I called maintenence and left them a message, he did call back shortly and said to put pans on the wall and they would be there first thing in the morning! Its almost 7:30pm why haven't they showed. This is horrible service and I'm glad that our lease is just about up. I can not deal with all of these leaks anymore!!!!!!

I don't live here, but i was reading this because i was interested in brookwood. but i do work for a company that deals with mental and behavorial disabled people. The people i work with live in everyday apartments. Do you think they should be kept in some special homes just because of a mental issue? For the most part, they can function fairly normally. Most just need some assistance and reminding occasionally. I think its ridiculous and makes you a very shallow person for you to give brookwood bad reviews based on the fact that they let "people who are visted by mental heath people" live there. they are human. and have a right to live anywhere--just as you do. i understand complaing about leaks and things, but honestly...why did you need to complain about someone living there because of there mental status? |
