Brookwood Apartments

From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/19/2006 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2003   I must agree with everyone. The apts. are a mess. They really need to clean up and not only the apts. but the people as well. 22 years ago my grandmother used to live there and i remmember it being a very nice place you couldnt go out passed six without security asking for a pass. It was a very nice clean comunity. I was embarressed to say i lived there and i refer to it as Brook"hood". I cant believe this is the southside of indianapolis. I think they need to do some kind of thing for the children or have something like activities REAL swingsets and i KNOW it needs structure. So why dont you guys do something about it. Its a convenient because of downtown, 465, and the fact that it costs little money. Do you guys know you could be makeing so much more rent if you would invest a little' Because of all the conveniences. I wish it was better and another thing i really miss the convenience of being close to everything. I think someone needs to take chare of this matter and clean up the hood. Thank you Annonymous P.S and that was true i do remember that swat team it was in the summer and the fact that you guys have mental patients around children should be against the law because i heard children there get those adults that have mental problems , and it not fault, to buy them alcohal. So why do they have mental patients living in a public place in an apt. complex. They should be in a more supervised complex for there saftey and others. This is very important subject and something must be done because we know children can be teased. What if a child was teaseing one of the mental patients and the mental patient hurts the children. Whos fault is it' because they are basicly the same age.
