Mexican ghetto. I have never lived anywhere that was as horrible as this. The price was ok and it seemed fine when I visited a couple times prior to signing the lease and then as soon as I got in there everything changed.
If you like the "revolving door" of spanish speaking neighbors then you will love this hit hole. At any given time you can count at least 10 kids running through the corridor that connects the apartment's entrances and this chaos usually starts around 6:00 in the morning on any given day. These hoodlums would leave everything destroyed that they came across. The corridors are almost always trashed(see picture). These same kids are riding bicycles through the parking lot crashing into people's vehicles and throwing things(balls, rocks, sticks) that often hit vehicles. I have seen many cars keyed, scratched, or damaged by someone on the apartments premises and even had my carbon fiber hood on my civic scratched deeply by what appeared to be a key.
You will seriously regret moving in here. My sink backed up from the SEWAGE drain - the plumber that I called after maint. did nothing told me this - which covered all my dishes in the sink in sewage and filled my apartment with a smell that cannot be described and not soon forgotten. I had to throw many of the dishes away due to the smell they derived from this sewage.
The coin operated washer and dryer were ripped open with what looked like power tools or something and rendered unable to function on at least 3 separate occaisons. The apartments are old, drafty, and poorly maintained.
There was an "electrical" fire in my building which was contained to one apartment that was not mine. However in the process of searching for the fire the fire dept. kicked in my door(which took over a month to get replaced by maint.) Maint came and did a temporary fix on the door which would have easily been able to keep a 6-7 year old out of my apartment other than that and all of my belongings were free pickings. Also in the course of the fire the water heater above my apartment burst. Maint., in the infinite wisdom, drilled holes in the floor of the apartment above mine and through my ceiling to allow all of this water to drain into my apartment causing thousands of dollars in damage. Maint. did move a lot of my belongings in my house but unfortunately a lot of them were damaged when they were moved.
I don't understand how an Aimco owned apartment can be so screwed up but this place is really hell to stay in.

I understand that you are angry but to say that a mexican would appreciate such treatment is a very racist statement no one deserves the treatment you recieved. I also live here and enjoy seeing the diversity. We are all descendants of immigrants and should keep this in mind unless you are native american you are also a visitor here.
