Awesome place to live..not so cookie cutter

I have been a resident for a few years now, and I must say I really enjoy living here. Since they put in new windows, it's helped my utility bills..which is important. The maintenance service is great, always quick to fix things. The new manager is great too, always in the office ready to help you. I have a large 2 bedroom apartment, and love the hard wood floors, and sunroom. I would recommend anyone to live here. It's close to just about anything you need. So if you're tired of living in all the same, vinyl siding apartments, try this one out.

Glad to hear they have a new manager. Stephanie Harmless was the most incompetent apartment manager I've met. My experience living at the Balmoral would have been much better had I not dealt with Stephanie - she lost my pro-rated check, didn't provide me with a copy of my lease until I had lived there 7 months, and was horrible at returning phone calls on a timely basis.

I agree. Stepahnie was terrible. Nancy has made living in B&B much easier- although I am somewhat worried about the parking situation (now everyone gets a permit and can get guest permits, I have only had to park in the over flow lot 3 times since the change, not too bad). I have just signed my 3rd lease and only did so becasue the management changed. We are really enjoying the community now which is VERY dog friendly and residents are generally young professionsal. |

I've found Nancy to be just as incompetent as Stephanie and maintenance is horrible! I've had the ceiling falling on my head for the entirety of my lease. Once, when they came to work their magic, they left spackling all over the place, including on my computer and desk which they specifically told me that they would cover up with plastic. The air conditioning and heating ducts don't spread evenly through the apartment (our bathroom and bedrooms don't get any air unless you leave the doors open).
Mold grows heavily in the bathrooms because there is no ventilation. My closet is covered in wood paneling which was covered in mold, too. When I asked them to fix it, they just pulled off the moldy wood panelling and put up fresh wood panelling, even though I asked them not to since it will just trap more moisture and happen all over again (and they agreed). Their solution with mold in the bathroom was just to spackle over it. They don't answer phone calls or emails in a timely manner. Maintenance won't leave notification if they enter your apartment or attempt to fix anything (even though I have made it clear that I want them to and I've been told again and again that it is their company policy to do so).
The apartments are beautiful, though, if you can stand the people's lack of concern or customer service.
