This was a great place to live about a year ago or longer when Amli was here and things where done in a timely manner and the staff actually cared and followed through! As in other posts, there is a huge Raccoon problem. As I am sitting here writing this, there are 5 of them in the dumpster! They are in everyone's garages and you have to worry about your car being peed and pooped on. On top of the raccoons, I have also found several highly poisonous Brown Recluse spiders inside my apartment. The maintenance staff here is awful. I have been here for 7 months and they just got to fixing some of the things that I had reported as broken when I first moved in. On the flip side, the accounting department here messed up my March rent and just figured it out 4 months later. While the staff won't return my phone calls about maintenance issues, they are sure on top of things when it comes to money: they called every 2 days to make sure I came to pay it again to them. So be careful when you move in: they are raising prices and things are getting worse. I have even had Riverbend employees tell me that things are awful now, and that nothing gets done around here anymore. There are plenty of other places in the Castleton area to live - look hard and go somewhere other than Riverbend!

oh my god I thought I was the only one - I have found at least 5 brown recluse spiders in my apartment, living on the first floor. It is very scary, they have a big spider problem here.
