I lived in AMLI/CORE Riverbend for about two years, and I have mixed feelings. First the good things:

1. Nice single-bedroom apartment with a lake view for $580 odd. I thought this was a great deal.
2. Maintainence was quick to respond to any troubles (rarely they take a day or two to respond, but they get things done).
3. Closeness to the Castleton mall where you can buy practically anything, Costco, Lifetime Fitness, ...

Bad things:
Noise problem. My building generally houses a lot of students, and tend to party all throughout the night (with loud music and everything). To aggravate this problem, the walls are paper-thin, and you can practically hear everything your neighbors are talking. I complained about this to management, and they were very lax in responding to this. Basically, they told me that I am on my own and it is my responsibility to call the police and make a complaint.

I lived in the $580 apartment initially and found it to be quite small. I felt like I was back in college again. I'm glad someone else has finally reported the noise problem. I knew I couldn't be the only one. The response sounds about right....Riverbend doesn't want to actually deal with their tenants, so they tell you to call the police. I was told to call the police when my upstairs neighbors were having loud intercourse continually. Instead of telling them to shut the windows or oil the bed frame they passed the buck. Yeah right....the cops would have loved that one. I didn't have too much of the music after one set of neighbors moved out, but you could hear everything. We also had a peeping tom in my area...witnessed this guy looking in several windows and they never could catch him.
