JUST SAY NO TO CORE RIVERBEND

In two years, this complex has gone from overpriced but nice to what I would call the ghetto. We constantly get notices of new criminal activity ranging from assaults to break ins to car thefts to home invasions. It is to the point that we are leaving despite hating to pack and move. After two years of acceptable parking areas, now when crime is at its worst--if your wife or daughter needs to park near the entrance of their building--get ready for a $285 tow bill from Pro Tow--Their contracted partners for "legal parking and automotive compliance" Personally, we have experienced extreme vandalism to our autos, theft from autos and numerous shady maintainence personell requesting entry for repairs not asked for and without identification. Just say No To Core Riverbend. They have not even made the effort to try to improve public safety for their residents which is the least they could do considering they have increased the already extremely high Amli Rents.

As of last week the Riverbend staff did get the assistance of the IPD to help the members of this community become knowledgeable about how to combat this ever increasing crime. I will give the staff credit for that, but I do agree with 80% of what this review entails. Such high crime in the apartment complex does NOT let us (I, too, live in Riverbend) feel safe. I've lived in the apartment complex for five months now and though I've not encountered any crime personally, a look to the IPD CrimeView website (http://imaps.indygov.org/cvc/) speaks louder than words. The property crime at Riverbend is obscene. Also, I've never had my car towed, and I don't necessarily see why it would get towed, so long as you're not parking under the reserved (paid for) parking spaces.
Now, Riverbend makes me an unhappy customer in a lot of ways, and pay attention to the reviews, you'll see a glaringly positive one get posted within the next few days by staff to even out this negative review, but I only provide my comments here to provide a more complete picture.
