CORE Riverbend formerly AMLI at Riverbend
< | >
If looking for a mid to high priced apartment in Indianapolis you should simply remove CORE Riverbend from your list.
Here's a a few reasons
-Old apartments = poor sound insulation. I can hear my upstairs neighbor plodding around all the time. Top it off with a neighbor who prefers music with heavy bass through a huge sub and you simply won't be able to even take a nap.
-Ineffective Management Responses. Attempts to rectify the issue above proved fruitless. Multiple messages to management and direct contact with my neighbor did nothing to mitigate the problem.
-Maintenance that is busy putting out fires. Maintenance is pretty good at making sure the basics work - like A/C and drains - but very bad at anything preventative. Lights have been out in the hallways for months, broken tiles in my apartments have never been looked at, etc.
-High Crime - especially for ground floor apartments. Just check the stats out at the city's site imaps.indygov.org/cvc/. Management has done little rectify the problem - try hiriing a security guard or improving exterior and hallway lighting. I think they'd rather spend the money on landscaping.
Other than those critical issues, CORE Riverbend does have some apartments with upgraded stoves and decent parking. However, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
