I've lived in Canal Square for 2 years. They are overpriced for the square footage and the maintenance is terrible. Almost every single time we have needed something fixed it has taken at least 3, if not more calls to get the problem taken care of. One occasion was a leak in the ceiling. It took a few days just to get someone to look at it, then they just left it and about a week later I came home to no ceiling and a soaked mattress. This would not have happened had they responsed to my initial complaint days earlier. When they finally came and replaced my ceiling they left a mess and there is spakle all over my bathroom door and mirror. Also the repairs are obvious and not very well done. We had been renting a washer and dryer from a separate company whose customer service was great, but after our last problem we learned the Canal Square had purchased these machines and are now responsible. We have had someone come to fix our dryer 3 times and it still doesn't work as well as it should for the $40 a month we pay to use it. Out of the 4 gas grills in the complex not one had any gas in the tanks this week. This place is not worth the money!
