Carlton isn't all bad...

Carlton is pretty decent. Although, when my roomates and I moved in, the apartment had spiders everywhere and there was a big vomit stain on the living room floor. We complained and they cleaned it the next day and they refunded us some money. The staff are okay, just a little flighty. The maintence men always respond pretty timely, but we've called them like 20 times since we've lived here, and we moved in last August. It seems like everything from the alarm system to the heater to even the doorknobs broke. They always fixed it though. I am renewing my lease because, honestly, its not all bad. Our kitchen is the largest I've ever seen in an apartment and it has a window. We have a patio and it feels like we have a cabin in the woods, there are so many trees. Our dog likes to swim in the lakes. It really is a pretty complex, once you get past the huge piles of trash by the dumpsters at least once a week (only 2 trash cans for the entire complex...) There are a lot of questionable people who live there, but my neighbors have been great. I never worry about my car getting broken in to. I grew up in Zionsville and honestly, I have high standards, and Carlton suites me just fine. Just ----- a lot and they will fix your stuff. You have to remember that you get what you pay for.
