My son lived at Carlton apts for 1 yr while attending Lincoln Tech thru the collegiate housing program. His apartment was broken into; along with 2 other apts of other students. Do not live in the bldgs where the back faces the wooded areas!!
Also, lock on door inadequate - never really felt safe there!
Could often hear people gathering in the parking area in front of the bldg (not students, either) Appliances are old - no icemakers in fridge....microwave from 80's had missing buttons on it.
Beware if you're renting thru Collegiate housing - the apartment you get is nothing like the one you are shown!!!!

Carlton should not be renting to collegiate housing. They typically have 4 people to an apartment, and parking becomes a nightmare. The apartments do not provide adequate parking for the renters as it is, and the attitude of the office is "so sorry for your luck; if you don't like it, you should buy a house".
