Upon moving in during winter, the gas furnace did not work. After many phone calls to the maintanence staff I called the gas company, who tagged the furnace and said it must be replaced. Maintanence finally showed up and got it running wthout replacing it. I though ok well at least it is warm. The next month my friend stepped on a rusted nail sticking out from the floor of the basement and had to get a tetnis shot! In that same month the shower started leaking everywhere. It took a month for them to come and half ass fix it. It still leaks after almost a year! they wont do anything about but they want me to pay the ater bill' also included in the water bill is trash removal and community electricity! There is a crack house(literally) across the street luckily for me my car has not been messed with but other cars in the lot have been hit. A bullet when through my window and hit my bed about 2 feet from where my head was. It took them 3 months to fix this! No joke! Then the guy who repaired it got mad because i had put duct tape on the hole! Helloooo' It is winter time, its bad enough my gas bills are outrageous because of the furnace. It snowed heavily a few times and 16 inches of snow and ice were ont he ground. the never came to plow! My friend who was 8 months pregnant slipped and fell. it was a light fall and she was ok. Come summer time it gets really bad 12 visits from maintanece to fix an air conditioner that they cannot fix. It is too hot in these apartments! Maintanence takes forever and they yell at you telling you that your not the only one with air problems! People hang out in the streets here and no one watches their kids I almost hit a kid who couldnt have been more than 2 years old playing with a basketball in the middle of the parking lot. The toilet has broke a few times and i don't think my dishwasher has ever worked! The walls are disgusting so is the carpet. and my neighbors use my yard as a dumpster. This placeis really as bad as the other reviews state. Stay away from this community! You have to pay for every little thing including getting a letter saying you have to buy blinds which they dont provide. I got a letter 15 days after i payed rent stating that i needed to pay the total of "$1" that day or I would be taken to eviction. Also a friend of mine lives in this community and she has had her house broken into. There is lots of drugs and gang activity in this place and you can complain to the staff all day long they dont care, infact they are rude about it.
