Ghetto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lived here for 2 years and within those two years alone, crime has surged and the managment seems to be leasing to anyone now (families or couples who are just simply loud and rude to those who surround them). The management's new strategy for controlling crime, is to close off the entrance that seems to be the safest for autos and allow only traffic through a route that one must cross a busy highway that is renowned for accidents. The apartments are very outdated. Appliances that are 30 to 40 years old as well as bathroom fixtures. I will give the management an A for repair issues within apartments. However it does not make up for the fact this place is going to hell in a handbag.

"Ghetto" seems far from the fact here, but the gate was closed during the day due to increased non-resident traffic and trash. I, for one, appreciate the effort even though it has meant an additional one-half mile drive each time I enter and leave the complex.

Apparently this person has never been to a real ghetto if he or she thinks Chateau de Ville is one.

this is a very true review. you have hit the nail on the exact head. this is no place to live. more and more tenants are seeing that it is bad news, from rift raft people, pitbulls, to the ever annoying office staff, to mold in apartments, you name it!

they closed the entrance to control crime. the fact is that it has not. i read the notices that management posts on doors (that have increased), warning people to take extra steps to ensure their safety. what they do not tell you is why they have posted these notices. some of the crimes that have occurred here within the span of my residency has been anywhere from shootings to grand theft auto (that has sky-rocketed). so to be fair, yes it is slowly becoming 'ghetto'. management seems to take all of the crime here as a grain of salt. efforts by them to control crime has been minimal at best. although i'm sure that the majority of the criminals are non-residents.
