I've lived in Chateau de Ville for years and I'm happy with it. It's very well kept and the staff is always available. If I have a problem they fix it promptly usually the next day. I've had mostly good neighbors with only one exception. Thankfully they didn't stay long. My apartment is very nice and people always comment on it when they come over. People speak highly of Chateau de Ville if you ask around. The grounds are very well kept. There is only one negative and you can not fault the complex for that. Hidden a few minutes down the street is a notorious area known as Brightwood. I mean no disrespect to black people when I say this but if you are not black don't even think of jogging south past the river on foot. If you are lucky you will soon be in a full sprint back. There is a very high police presence to offset the very high property and violent crime rate slightly south. In this area if you are going to rent an apartment this is the best around. I've been in the apartments around the area and they aren't as nice.

Are you nuts? Chateau DeVille STARTS in the 5600's. Brightwood STARTS in the 2500's. That's hardly "down the street". Why did you sprint? Did someone chase you? I doubt it. It was your own bigotry that made you afraid, Michael. There are 4 directions in which you can jog. Why choose that one? Besides, the review was supposed to be about Chateau DeVille. Not about your racism.

You are an idiot. As the previous comment stated, Brightwood is NOWHERE NEAR Chateau Deville. I live near Chateau also and you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. But hey, ignorance is bliss right??? Get a clue, and a map while you're at it!!!
