I MOVED INTO CHESAPEAKE IN AUGUST OF 2007. IT HAS BEEN TOTAL HELL. I HAVE COMPLAINED OVER AND OVER ABOUT THE SPIDER ISSUE THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE SENT MAINTENACE OUT TO SPRAY WHICH IS A LIE! THE FAUCET IN MY FULL BATHROOM HAS BEEN LEAKING SINCE I MOVED IN AND STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. THERE IS ACTUAL VOMIT ON MY STAIRWELL THAT IS JUST DISGUSTING TO LOOK AT AND THEY HAVE NOT SENT NOBODY OUT TO CLEAN IT OUT. BUT AS SOON AS I AM ONE DAY LATE ON MY RENT THEY TAKE NO TIME TO PUT THAT PIECE OF PIECE OF PAPER ON MY DOOR TO LET ME KNOW I AM LATE. THE PARKING IS HORRIBLE, I HAVE TO RACE HOME EACH DAY JUST TO ENSURE THAT I AM GOING TO HAVE A DECENT PARKING SPACE OR ELSE MY NEIGHBORS AND THEIR ROWDY FRIENDS ARE GOING TO TAKE ALL THE GOOD ONES. I WOULD NOT REFER MY WORST ENEMY TO CHESAPEAKE. CHESAPEAKE IS ONE SPIDER AWAY FROM THE GHETTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DID I FORGET TO MENTION THAT THE PROPERTY MANAGER AND ASSISTANT MANAGER ARE 2 SCREWS AWAY FROM BEING MIDLESS IDIOTS.

I agree completely. I moved there in July 2007 and hate it. I can not get maintenace to come and fix anything. My bathroom sink has also leaked since I moved in, my neighbors leave their trash in the stairwell and no one cleans it up. Anytime I call with an issue I am told someone will call back and no one does. I have never been late on my rent so why can they be late or not do the things they have agreed to do. They are rude and unwilling to give a crap about your needs.

that is so funny because i also agree with the both of you. though i will say i do often leave my trash bag in the stair well for the simple fact that i do not feel safe walking to my trash bin @ nighttime so i would just rather take it out in the morning when it is light. but i absolutely agree with you guys as far as maintenance and the horrible office staff. nobody never returns your phone calls i have left numerous messages for the property manager to call me not once has she returned my phone call. on top of that my neighbors are standing out in front of the apartment unit at 1 o'clock in the morning talking and laughing so i can not get no sleep cause the walls are so thin. and on top of that my neighbor who lives across the hall from me puts her dog cage out on the steps and stinks up the whole stairwell. i have really had it with chesapeake. if i had extra money i would BREAK my lease. it would be worth every cent.
