We moved here from another Aimco property. So far the two apartments have been night and day. This place seemed nice when we first moved in. We had a much nicer stove, a sink that was stainless and not the peeling paint of our last apartment. You get a washer and dryer at no extra cost and they appear to be brand new. There is more storage in the kitchen and a newer refrigerator. The carpet looked like it had been cleaned. You can't really hear the neighbors through the walls.

Then I started noticing things. The washer and dryer heat up the entire unit, which is not too bad in the colder weather since there is no insulation to this place, but they do make terrible knocking noises. The kitchen sink leaks and I can't use two of the drawers in there because they have been warped by it, but never replaced. The dishwasher doesn't clean and the sink doesn't stay stopped up to handwash the dishes. Be prepared to go through a lot of soap. The toilet seats are all stained. There are even less overhead lights here than our last apartment. Our car insurance rates also went up.

There is an on site playground, but for some reason the children choose to play in the street. The other day I came home and was getting my stuff out of my car and this girl about four or five years old actually ran her body into my front bumper twice and hit it hard enough to shake the car. I have awoke several times to children yelling outside. The children around here yell all the time when they are outside. I don't know if they are in trouble or if it's play. There are sirens at regular intervals on 30th. Other than those things it is quiet.
