Don't let them talk you in to it!!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/3/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005 1 response   I always wanted to move in to the Summit apartments... well about 6 months ago my dream came true but quickly turned into a nightmare!!!!! To begin, Megan wanted me to sign my lease w/o viewing the apartment I was to move in to. Per my demand I was finally allowed to view the apartment; 2 days prior to move in and none of the closet doors were attatched, there were no bars in the closets to hang clothes, it was filthy, the carpet was done in a half-assed job, etc... We were promised that all of these concerns would be taken care of before we moved in. Well, obviously they were not. It ended up taking 4, that's right, 4 months to get the major issues completed, no compensation was offered, or granted after numerous requests. Megan would not give us the number to the "corporate" office, but did say that we could write them with our concerns. We did and nothing was done,(not surprized). So, there has been several occasions with no hot water, mysterious leaks in the floor and celings that can't be figured out, no "gym" as advertised, dirty and broken laundry facility, and idiot management. I was forced to call the Department of Health on the management because after several requests to replace tiles that were infested with Black Mold, they were allowing Black Mold to grow in the celing of the lobby!!! I HATE LIVING HERE!!!! I can't wait for the lease to be up!!! Please do not let them talk you in to renting here!!! I too read these complaints and presented them to Megan, I was told that they were done by a resident that had recently been evicted and was angry about it. As long as Megan and Nicloe are working here it will be a -----hole apartment building dubbed as the "Slummit". P.S. Their idea of correcting the scratched brass in the elevator was to spray paint it gold... classy.
