Summit House hasn't changed

From reading the current reviews, I can see that nothing has changed at the Summit.
When I lived there several years ago, it was one problem after another. It is an old building that years of neglect and upkeep in maintenance has taken its toll. I can remember my first year, the boilers broke and the building had no heat. It was in the middle of winter too. Pipes above the lobby eventually froze and burst, flooding the lobby and the businesses on the first floor. I was home with a cold that developed into pneumonia. My heat was the electric stove.
Then that summer, the A/C broke. No one had air, and in a building such as this, where you have no cross ventilation, you need air. I believe it took over a month to get it fixed and, in the summer, it was unbearably hot. Someone even called the local TV station who sent someone out to interview tenants. Did anyone get their rent pro-rated to reimburse for this' I certainly didn't see anything.
The pool was closed a lot of the time due to leaks or repairs. The underground garage had concrete chunks falling down from the ceiling. The basement garage door squeaked horribly for many months before anyone repaired it. Repairs for your own apartment would take several calls to inquire what the status was. It was next to impossible to get the phone number of the management company to file complaints.
I would never live here again unless the building is razed, completely rebuilt, and new management put in place, and the whole property fenced.
