Good.

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I lived there for more than a year now and still living there. Columns is pretty good. But I had never lived in any other apartment in Indianapolis before, so no comparison here.
I have sub 700$ a month for 1000 square feet, one bedroom. Huge living room. I think the rent is ok in terms of $ per square foot.
Water and heat is free. Also hot water is free. Not many bills to take care of. I did not cook much. So my electric bill is low. Sub 40-50.
The apartment is near a large residential community. But that community is very good. You can see on google map. I used to run in the neighborhood for exercise. I would love to own a house there, though they are kind of old. Columns is also quiet.
I am on the 2nd floor. Not many bugs. There were some cockroaches, but I got rid of them with bug control bait.
I do not have many chances to talk to staff about maintenance. Kitchen sink clogged once. Solved the same day I called. No other problem yet.
Close to large shopping mall, less than 10 min drive.
Overall, I like it here. I would continue to stay here for foreseeable future.
